Last year the Salford City Roosters Club were very grateful to accept our Defibrillator from Carlo Napolitano, via the RFL, from when he was coaching the Italian team in the RL World Cup.
There are many people within our club (coaches, committee, parents, senior players) who have taken part in a training session at the club, and will therefore be familiar with the Defibrillator and more confident in using it - should that need every arrive (and hopefully it won't!).
Our Defibrillator is stored in the clubhouse in a room adjacent to the bar, and is available whenever the club is open. Please make a point of finding the location of our Defibrillator and, more importantly, asking either a coach or a committee member if you would like to attend a short training session.
The Defibrillator - UNLESS REQUIRED IN A MEDICAL EMERGENCY - must NOT be taken out on the pitch by any team and, most certainly, NEVER be taken to away matches.
By ensuring that the Defibrillator is secure within the club, it makes this life-saving machine available to everyone inside or outside the club premises.
