The Roosters were delighted to entertain an U-16s team and their coaches from Issy Rugby League 92, Paris.  This link was created from a visiting French Masters Team, who travelled to the UK last October for the RL Grand Final.  Members of our Under 15s and Under 17s joined us for an afternoon of entertainment.  Many thanks to Leigh Centurians who provided tickets to our visitors to watch the Leigh v Catalans game that evening.

18/03/17 - Injury Updates

The Roosters open age section was delighted to welcome back Joe Connor for his first game in almost two years following reconstructive knee surgery.  Joe followed,  by just a few weeks,  brother Ben Connor - who had also spent time recovering from the same injury.   Joe took the Man of the Match award in his first game back against Millom today.

Meanwhile, we are still awaiting the return - from the same injury! - of Mike Davies, who we expect to return in July.  Hooker Lee Salisbury - recovering from a badly broken arm - looks set to return in May.  That will be all our long-term injuries healed, and just the more minor ones to deal with.
